홍익패션위크는 패션과 섬유미술, 텍스타일디자인 전공의 학사, 석사, 박사 재학생들이 연합해 개최하는 홍익대학교 최대 전시행사입니다.
본 행사는 2022년 홍익대학교 개교 이래 처음 시행되었으며, 2023년 올해 두 번째 개최를 맞이하고자 합니다.
홍익패션위크는 홍익대학교 미술대학 섬유미술패션디자인과, 일반대학원 패션디자인과와 섬유미술·텍스타일디자인과, 패션대학원 패션디자인전공, 패션비즈니스전공, 패션액세서리디자인전공, 패션뷰티디자인전공 재학생들의 작품과 연구로 구성된 패션쇼와 전시, 세미나와 포럼, 과제전 등 다양한 행사로 구성됩니다.
특히, 학사, 석사, 박사 재학생들의 작품을 동시에 관람할 수 있는 패션쇼와 전시는 국내 어느 학교에서도 시도되지 않은 행사입니다. 지난 2022 홍익패션위크 패션쇼 와 전시장에는 약 1만 6천여 명의 관람객들이 방문하며 성황리에 마쳤습니다. 세미나와 포럼 행사에서는 패션비즈니스 전공 재학생들의 연구 발표 및 국내외 패션 산업을 선도하는 전문가들을 초청해 다양한 주제의 강연과 워크숍을 선보였습니다. 또한 과제전은 학부 1-3학년들의 수업 과정과 결과물을 토대로 건물 전체를 전시장으로 구성하며 큰 관심을 받았습니다.
2023 홍익패션위크 역시 패션과 섬유미술, 텍스타일 디자인 분야를 융합하여 학문과 실천적 지식을 발전시키고, 국내 패션 산업을 선도할 미래 인재를 선보이는 데에 목표를 두고 있습니다. 나아가 홍익대학교는 홍익패션위크를 통해 한국 패션 교육을 선도하는 기관으로 발돋움하고 향후 패션 산업 발전에 기여하고자 합니다.

HONGIK FASHION WEEK

HONGIK FASHION WEEK is Hongik University's largest exhibition event organized by bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students majoring in fashion, textile art, and textile design. <br><br>The event was held for the first time since the opening of Hongik University in 2022 and will be held for the second time this year. HONGIK FASHION WEEK consists of various events such as fashion shows, exhibitions, seminars, forums, and assignment exhibitions featuring the works and research of students in the Department of Textile Art and Fashion Design, Department of Fashion Design, Department of Textile Art and Textile Design, and Department of Fashion Design, Department of Fashion Business, Department of Fashion Accessories Design, and Department of Fashion Beauty Design at Hongik University. <br><br>In particular, the fashion show and exhibition, where the works of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students can be viewed at the same time, is an event that has never been attempted by any school in Korea. In the past, the 2022 Hongik Fashion Week Fashion Show and Exhibition was a great success with about 16,000 visitors. The seminar and forum events featured research presentations by fashion business majors and lectures and workshops on a variety of topics by leading experts in the domestic and international fashion industry. In addition, the task exhibition, which organized the entire building as an exhibition space based on the course work and results of the first and third years of undergraduate students, received great attention. <br><br>The 2023 HONGIK FASHION WEEK also aims to advance academic and practical knowledge by fusing the fields of fashion, fiber art, and textile design, and to showcase future talents who will lead the domestic fashion industry. Furthermore, through HONGIK FASHION WEEK, Hongik University aims to become a leading institution for fashion education in Korea and contribute to the future development of the fashion industry.
